AI Agents · ROI calculator
What would an AI agent really cost, and save?
Enter your enquiry volume and costs. The calculator models the agent’s resolution rate, escalations and failures, human review and supervision, and every running cost, then shows three scenarios so you can see the uncertainty.

What is modelled
Designed not to flatter the result.
- No 100% automation
- You set the resolution and escalation rates. Whatever is neither resolved nor escalated cleanly counts as a failure that a person redoes.
- Escalations still cost time
- Escalated and failed conversations are handled by people at full handling time, plus extra minutes per escalation.
- Review and supervision
- A share of resolved conversations is reviewed, and someone supervises the system every month.
- All running costs
- AI usage, messaging fees, hosting, maintenance and supervision are deducted from any saving.
- Hours are not cash
- Only the share of released hours you enter as converted to cash counts as a saving. The rest is capacity. Productivity and payroll reduction are never counted as the same benefit.
Routed = enquiries × (1 − already automated) × coverage × ramp
Resolved = routed × resolution %
Escalated = routed × escalation %
Failed = routed − resolved − escalated
Hours released = routed × minutes ÷ 60
− (escalated + failed) × minutes ÷ 60
− escalation overhead − review time
Cash saving = hours released × hourly cost × cash-conversion %
Net / month = cash saving − AI usage − messaging
− hosting − maintenance − supervision
3-year TCO = investment + 36 months of running cost
